About Neil Ogden Associates
Neil
Ogden Associates officially started trading in 1994, promoting a
range of home publishing titles, and network marketing
programs.
Later that year,
a home business magazine called Biz Op News was launched
and for the following five years was the main product
produced by the business.
The home
publishing side of the business was moved to a new brand
called Associate Publications. The number of
titles available through Associate Publications
gradually grew and now includes a range of course and
business learning material/
In 1996, the
Internet was just starting to establish itself and Biz
Op News was one of the first home business magazines of
its type to establish itself on the net. Later
that year, the magazine officially launched "Biz Op
News On The Net" as an online magazine and
advertising web site. In those days, all the
editing and technical stuff was done by a third party,
but this proved unreliable and when this third party
basically disappeared without trace, the web site
business was brought in house, officially launching as
Associate Internet Promotions in 1997.
In 1999 due to
the pressure of other projects, it was decided to cease
the publication of Biz Op News. The spirit of the
magazine lives on though with the web site www.homebizonline.co.uk
In 2000, Neil Ogden Associates became a full time
business for 5 months, gradually increasing its product
and service portfolio, and continuing this task until
Principal Neil Ogden was again able to be full time from
August 2003.
Nowadays, the business comprises several different
parts. Associate
Publications promotes business manuals and reports
as well as a large range of eBooks and software
products.
Associate
Internet Promotions has an expanding range of
clients and has recently launched the AIP Live Update
System which allows customers to update their own web
site with an easy to use on line editing system.
The modern day equivalent of Biz Op News was launched
in February 2004. Home
Biz On Line contains news and articles of interest
to anyone in business for themselves as well as
advertising opportunities and the famous Scam Busters
investigating the scams that are still doing the
rounds. Some of these are the same as 10 years ago
- remember I S Trading?
Finally, there's Associate
Radio Productions - not an official part of the
business, but available to produce simple voiceovers and
do simple production work.
Principal Neil Ogden also has a web site at www.neilogden.co.uk
to promote all of these businesses as well as other
projects.
As well as all of this, Neil has successfully studied
and passed a Diploma in Proofreading and Copy Editing
and offers a range of
business services and products to businesses, as well as
currently working for MSN as a Human Relevance Judge for
their search engine..
